There is no magic hour
Flying conditions depend on wind, cloud development, visibility and local conditions at the launch area. A time that worked beautifully yesterday can be less suitable today. Treat an advertised departure time as a planning window, not a guarantee that the wing will launch at that exact minute.
Morning can feel calmer, but that is not a promise
Earlier departures are often attractive to travelers who want the rest of the day free and who prefer cooler conditions. Afternoon flying can offer different air and light. The important point is that the pilot and operator should make the go/no-go decision based on conditions, not your sightseeing schedule.
Build slack into your day
Do not stack a non-refundable airport transfer, tasting menu or another tightly timed tour immediately after paragliding. Mountain activities work better when you leave room for transport, waiting and weather-related changes.
What to check before leaving your hotel
Confirm the meeting point, pickup status, weather communication channel and what happens if the flight cannot operate. Keep your phone charged and avoid assuming that a clear sky in El Poblado tells you exactly what is happening at the launch.
